KSPCB in collaboration with NGO’s and other organizations are regularly conducting various environment awareness programmes on various events. About Rs. 40 Lakhs Budget is allocated for conducting awareness programmes during 2004-05. The awareness activities such as organizing seminars, workshops, campaigns, Jathas, street plays, tree plantations, debate, painting, drawing competitions and other environment related activities to school children and general public are carried out in collaboration with NGO’s/ Trusts/ Eco-clubs and other organizations through the year. |

KSPCB has brought out a monthly news letter to school children called “Young World Environment” in which various dimensions related to environmental pollution, wild life etc., is published. |

KSPCB has evolved an Application Format to enable the interested NGO’s/ Trusts/ Organizations etc., to submit the proposals for carrying out awareness activities. The Application Format (FORM-I) can be downloaded from below. |

The eligibility criteria for Organizations to submit proposals are |

The proposals should be submitted in the prescribed format (can be downloaded ) to the KSPCB, #49, “Parisara Bhavan”, Church Street, Bangalore- 01 |
|
The applicant/Firms/Society/Trust/NGO should be registered. |
|
The applicant/organization should have a minimum of 3 years experience in the field of environmental awareness activities. |
|
The applicant shall submit 3 years audited balance sheet certified by a competent authority. |
