Took up Practice of Law in 1976 and Practiced in Mandya Bar till 1983. Joined State Judiciary in 1983.

Worked as Munsiff and Judicial Magistrate First Class(1983-1992)
Worked as Civil Judge and Chief Judicial Magistrate (1992-199)
Taken on Deputation to Department of Law and Parliamentary Affairs in 1994.

In the Department of Parliamentary Affairs and Legislation as Assistant Draftsman and Ex-officio Deputy Secretary to Government in December 1997 Promoted as Additional Draftsman and Ex-officio Additional Secretary in the year, in March 1998. Now working as Secretary to Government, Department of Parliamentary Affairs and Legislation on Promotion since October 2005. Hobbies: Reading, Literary, Listening music etc.,
