Training
The Irrigation Vigilance Cell was created vide GO. ¤A.E. 16 MBI 2000, Bangalore, dated 04.04.2000. The Cell is headed by a Senior Police Officer, of the Cadre of Inspector General of Police.
A Training Workshop for the Policemen, Police Officers Civil and Police Officers Armed and Engineers and Technical Staff on Water Resource Infrastructure Protection was conducted at Karnataka Engineering Research Station / Krishna Raj Sagara Dam. The Training was conducted during 05.02.2009 to 07.02.2009, with co-operation of the Chief Engineer, Irrigation South and the Director, Karnataka Engineering Research Station / Krishna Raj Sagara Dam.
A total of 114 Policemen, Police Officers Civil and Police Officers Armed and Engineers and Technical Staff participated in the Training Workshop.
