Cadre and Recruitment Rules - 1961
No. GAD 35 ORR 60
dated 2nd March 1961
The Governor of Mysore hereby sanctions the establishment of the State Service Cadres in respect of the Gazetteer Branch of the Mysore General Service. The strength of each of the said cadres and the number and character of the posts borne thereon shall be as follows :

All or any of these five posts will be either Class II or Class III as specified in column 3

  1. If the post is filled up on the basis of deputation of a Class II Officer from the Secretariat or other Departments the scale of pay of the post will be the scale of pay of the post such officer holds in the parent Department and the post will be classified as a Class II post.
  2. If the post is filled up on the basis of deputationof a Class III Officer from the Secretariat or other Departments the scale of pay of the post will be the scale of pay of the post such officer holds in the parent Department and the post will be classified as a Class II post.
  3. If the post is filled up on the basis of contract the scale of pay of the post will be Rs.200-20-400 and classified as a Class III post.
