(ii) Vehicles and conveyances : Beasts of burden, bullock and horse-drawn carts, cycles, automobiles, tramways, etc. their number and importance.
(iii) Public transports : Privately owned bus and taxi services, tramways, etc.State ad municipal owned services.
(c) Railways : Length, points connected and important stations, passenger and goods traffic, role in the economic life of the District, etc. Rail-road competition and regulation of transport.
(d) Waterways, ferries and bridges :-
(i) Course of waterways and important points touched. Construction and maintenance of waterways, ferries and bridges.
(ii) Boats, Steam-launches, ships, etc.
(iii) Public transports by water : Private-owned and State-managed.
(e) Transport by air : Airways and aerodromes
(f) Other means of transport : Ropeways, etc.
(g) Travel and tourist facilities :Old-time rest houses and dharmashalas. Dak bungalows and inspection houses, hotels, activities of travel agents, guides, etc.
(h) Posts and telegraphs & telephones : Facilities available and plans for extension.
(i) Radio and Wireless Station
(j) Organisations of owners and employees in the field of transport and communications.
