Sree Kanteerava Outdoor Stadium has a seating capacity of 40,000 along with required facilities viz., Common Rooms, VVIP Rooms, VIP Rooms, Dormitory, Toilet, Commentary Room, Media Rooms, Flood light facility, Synthetic Track, DG set. The outdoor stadium is utilized to conduct Athletic championships and also to conduct international Football championships.
Sree Kanteerava Outdoor stadium is provided / reserved exclusively for conduct of Sports Activities only. Apart from these, at Sree Kanteerava Sports Complex we have Volleyball Courts, Basketball Courts, Throwball Courts, Archery, Kabaddi Courts,Wall climbing, Boxing Hall,Tenicoit courts, Tennis courts. These courts are being provided to sportspersons for their daily training / practice on free of cost.
Nominal rent charges are fixed for various private organizations / institutions for conduct of sports activities at Sree Kanteerava Outdoor Stadium. Accommodation facilities are also provided for the sports persons / officials at the various stadia during the conduct of sports programmes. The affiliated Sports Associations are exempted from the rent charges. Copy of the tariff is submitted for perusal.
