1. In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 5 of the Right to Information Act 2005, Government hereby appoints the following as public information officers.

4.	Joint Director of Medical Education	All other medical education matters
5.	Planning Officer	All matters relating to Planning section
6.	Asst. Director of Nursing	All matters relating to Nursing Education & Training

2. Further in exercise of the power conferred by sub-section (2) of section 5 of the Right to Information Act 2005 the Government of Karnataka hereby appoints the following Assistant Public Information Officers in respect of the matter indicated against each.

3.	Administrative Officer of the Directorate of Medical Education	Administrative matters
4.	The health Equipment officer in the Directorate of Medical Education	Tender matter
5.	Deputy Director of Medical Education	Matter relating to medical education

3. Further, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of the section 19 of the right to information act 2005, the Government of Karnataka hereby prescribes:-

(1). The secretary to Government Health and Family Welfare Department (Medical Eduction) as appellate authority for the purpose of the said section in respect of the Medical Education matters dealt with at Secretariat level.

(2). The Director of Medical Education as appellate authority in respect of the Medical education matters at the field level.
